One of the important activities undertaken by them is Vidya Chetana Sponsor A Child initiative.This gives the donor joy and also satisfaction of educating a deserving Child. They inform us about the progress of the child in terms of the child's marks and other achievements. Srimathi Prasad Vidya Chetana under Youth for Seva has been instrumental in enabling access to the much required quality education for underprivileged children. Earlier I used to support the education of two or three children every year by paying them directly. The vision of the organization and ‘honesty of purpose’ convinced me a lot that I could scale up my donation and reach out to more students by working in collaboration with YFS. Sahana I am Sahana , studying final year BTech in Presidency University, Bangalore. I come from an economically backward family. We are two siblings and my father has been bed ridden since 6 years. My mother is a teacher in a private school and is the sole earning members in our family. When I secured a seat in BTech, I had no means to support myself to take up the course, considering our financial status. Youth For Seva helped me to pursue my education by providing financial and mentoring support. I recently secured a placement in IBM, Bangalore. I am extremely grateful to Youth for Seva , Vidya Chetana for the invaluable assistance to help me to achieve my goal. |

Pooja Hi all, I am Pooja. I am a proud beneficiary of Vidya Chetana scholarship. With the help of this scholarship, I could score 98.72 in my SSLC exam, which added wings to my dream of becoming an engineer. I am currently studying in BMS College of Engineering. For me, life was not very easy. My parents were struggling to make two ends meet. My mother works as domestic help, and my father runs a small shop. I used to study well, but I was always worried about how I could continue my higher education considering our financial background, then stepped in Vidya Chetana scholarship by Youth for Seva in my life. YFS team told me that I only need to study, and they will take care of my education expenses, there was nothing like it. Thanks to my donor, the entire team of Vidya Chetana, and Youth for Seva. |

Yathish Ks I am Yathish from a village near Tumkur, Karnataka . I have completed BE (Mechanical ) from R V College of Engineering.Bangalore. My father has health issues. We live on the pension money of my father given by the Karnataka state government. I did my diploma after 10th std, I received a Vidya Chetana scholarship to continue my Engineering Degree .I have completed my Engineering with 6.8GPA, got placement in DXA technology.
